Avoid Negative Energy

Mind Attack

Like a virus it’s caught. It affects everyone
On the planet. To have negative energy
Is the human condition. Like the common cold
Negative energy has a lethal stronghold
On humanity. Is this the way it should be?
Should one worry about what on earth could be done?

What does one say when having a conversation
With someone with an attitude? You don’t want to
Agree with them or fight them so you say nothing
For a while because there’s nothing you want to bring
To that table but there is something you can do
And that is be aware of your own vibration.

Negative people are driving you nuts because
Your vibration is wobbly. You’re not sure about
Where you are in the moment. You need them to be
Positive so that you feel good basically
And when that doesn’t happen the more you will doubt
That the universe is governed by certain laws.

In the midst of something that’s not positive you
Can stand easily when you are in alignment.
Find the gold nugget in it. Give folks permission
To be negative. You can disarm anyone
With compassion. Your spiritual refinement
Is the upper edge people mostly respond to.

 

Just Hook Up And Point At What You Want

Pointing Upward

The receiving mode never includes negative
Emotion. It is never the pushing against
Mode. It always feels enticing, satisfying,
And expansive. It doesn’t require my trying
Hard until the manifestation has commenced.
I’m ready for what the universe wants to give.

The receiving mode is my most natural state.
It’s appealing. It calls me. It’s fascinating,
Interesting, and clarifying. When I’m out
Of that state I’m consumed with confusion and doubt
And I don’t benefit from what I’m creating
By my asking how I can best cooperate.

I know that things are always working out for me.
I’m supposed to have power. The tantrums I throw
Indicate that within me something has gone wrong.
I can easily get back to where I belong
Which is happy. I’m here to do that and to grow
In the process. It’s everyone’s reason to be.

What do I want? Everything is open to me.
I can ponder the question and find fulfillment
In just doing that. In the mode of receiving
My chances of eventually achieving
Lasting happiness are best. By being content
I remain in touch with who I came here to be.

Helicopter Parenting

Watchful Eyes

It’s a loving obsession. Those who want to be
Protective of their children are known to be too
Overbearing. The hovering is the result
Of past worrying, so it becomes difficult
For some to not have their children always in view.
Does it work well as far as all parties can see?

Forget talking about how it all got started.
It’s of no value whatsoever to place blame
On the parents. That only causes that movie
To play longer. The ones that are the most scarry
Are the ones where the plot always remains the same.
The approach to parenting must be wholehearted.

Might children have been better off with parents who
Were much less domineering? They would have found more
Resources a lot faster for getting along
In the real world. No one has done anything wrong.
It’s just that your hardship stories do nothing for
The ones who are open and who look up to you.

You can watch your own movies – create them as well.
Connect to your own resources. Care about how
You are feeling. Let your beliefs morph into the
Direction of what you really want. You are free
To create your reality and to allow
Peace of mind to consume you wherein you will dwell.

Changing Beliefs

Hard Rusty Ways

Old senses of direction have started to rust
As the new dawn approaches, and I cannot see
What is written. All meaning has faded away.
No longer do I feel that I need to obey
Any system of guidance that’s outside of me.
One could say that I may have an issue with trust.

I have good belief systems. I think I’m okay
For the most part, but there are a few that I need
To replace because they’re not helping me to be
My best person. My life should be an odyssey
Of fulfillment. It’s my intention to succeed
At creating a more awesome life day by day.

What’s the fastest way to ingrain a new belief
System into my being? It’s by practicing
The thoughts of that system and by noticing how
I feel when I am thinking them. I can allow
All the good that my thinking and feeling can bring
To the moment. From doubt I can find much relief.

I practice when I’m feeling my best – not when I
Am at my worst. I can’t get a hold of something
That feels bad and then try to force it to feel good.
That’s absurd. The illogic is not understood,
But when my practice leads to something exciting
I will milk it and just keep myself flying high.

Talk About Your Desire

Do you think it’s a good year to start something new
By not dragging so much of the old on the way?
When you ask, it is given, every single time,
So don’t ask as if you are committing a crime.
Talk about what you want and believe what you say.
Letting in what is given is easy to do.

Negative human drama is in the forecast.
It cannot be a reason to pay attention
Lest the mind become poisoned. Your peace you deny.
You become somewhat brittle without knowing why.
Instead of believing that everything is done,
You may find yourself a prisoner of your past.

Turn the news off. Forget about humanity
For a moment and focus on what’s going well
In your circle immediate. Life will improve
With a shift in your consciousness. Then you can move
Into some satisfaction. Don’t sanctify hell.
What you ask for is supposed to come easily.

Universal energies want to flow through you
Toward what you desire, so do not block the flow
With beliefs and opinions. Let goodness happen
In your life. You can become like a child again…
In the best way, which is the only way to go.
Tell others who will listen of your point of view.

I Should Not Have Been Born

Self-Confinement

Can I blame mental illness for how I’ve behaved?
I would like to, but that would mean that I’m now sane.
In my old age, alone now, consumed in remorse,
I’m possessed by a grossly malevolent force.
My whole life was a mission to cause others pain
From this brutal life review I cannot be saved.

It’s injustice to worthiness. I don’t deserve
Satisfaction in living. In purgatory,
I remember my madness and all I have done
To create such calamity for everyone
I can think of. The reason that people hate me
Is because I’m an asshole with colossal nerve.

That’s why I flush the toilet every now and then
By moving to another place, leaving behind
A train wreck of existence to fuck up anew
Somewhere else. I’m amazed by the things that I do
That are downright disgusting. I had been unkind
For no apparent reason again and again.

Can I feel the embarrassment? Have I a soul?
As my lead solar plexus drains my energy,
I don’t want to remember the people I’ve known.
Knowing they have forgotten me, I can disown
That it ever had happened. In hell I should be.
Perhaps unconsciously that’s my ultimate goal.

But I’m here now and have been assigned to this role
For some God unknown reason. I am humbled by
My existence. I’m sorry for all that I’ve done
To hurt others. To hope that healing has begun
Is, I hope, not too arrogant. The day I die
Will be one of rejoicing for this troubled soul.

Negativity

Difficult Encounter

Negative situations scare the heck out of
Timid people and those overly sensitive
To contrasting environments. Then there are those
Who get off on the drama. Conflict among foes
Provides sound entertainment. They don’t seem to give
A rat’s ass about anything centered in love.

People can be annoying when they lose control
Of their tempers, yet one cannot practice disdain
For disgusting behavior. We all have been there.
One who never gets angry is someone quite rare.
Show some love and compassion and you will attain
Peace of mind. Know that you can play no major role.

Give people permission to feel their negative
Emotion, then yourself you will be kinder to.
Try to look for the nugget and appreciate
Its existence. Your reality you create
From the contrast that living often puts you through.
Do not concern yourself with the lives others live.

Embrace and revel in the variety here.
Allow people the sense that all of it makes sense.
The less you focus on it, the less active it
Will be in your vibration. The more you permit
Understanding, the less you’ll require a defense.
Things are not as negative as they may appear.

Your Emotional Frequency

Dance Of Vibration

Who can predict the weather to any degree
Of a semblance of accuracy? No one can.
So why do they keep trying? Is their intention
To piss off we the people? If so, it is done.
A fortune teller is more reliable than
The fallacious forecasting one does often see.

You can control the weather by controlling the
Only thing that you can control – your vibration.
Yet, the word ‘control’ may be a bit misleading.
In this instance, it means that you are succeeding
In doing the only thing that needs to be done.
You ‘control’ your vibration emotionally.

Your vibrational stance of alignment is your
Way of changing reality. By how you feel,
You adjust your attention to feeling better.
You send to the universe an open letter
Stating your declaration of what is ideal.
Whatever you focus on, it will give you more.

Having practiced the vibrational frequency
Of achieving, maintaining, and owning what you
Have created, now everything else will follow.
How can this be a difficult pill to swallow?
Feeling good is the only thing there is to do.
You can get a whole lot done emotionally.

Control Your Mind

The Program Of Society

By controlling your feelings, you focus your mind
In a way that allows things to come easily.
But it works both ways. It doesn’t matter if you
Are feeling ecstatic or if you’re feeling blue.
Good or bad things will manifest accordingly.
Is the Law of Attraction considered unkind?

It’s your best friend. It brings you how you are feeling.
It shows you so that you can make better choices.
When you feel badly, it gives you more of the same.
If you waste time looking for someone else to blame,
Then what flood through the mind are negative voices
Which may then require a process of self-healing.

Why do you want what you want? Pay attention to
The answer that comes to you. Begin practicing
The vibration of having it, and it will come.
Do not burden your mind with where it will come from.
Ask yourself what it feels like, and pretend being
Satisfied in the having of it come to you.

How does the vibration of security feel?
Does it feel like homecoming and empowerment?
Ask yourself these questions often, and feel your way
To alignment with your wishes. Do not fall prey
To the mindset prevailing. Your time is well spent
Contemplating what you have deemed to be ideal.

Changing Beliefs

Reprogramming Behavior

I have good belief systems. I think I think well,
But sometimes I malfunction and problems arise.
So there must be some things that I need to replace.
What’s the best way to do that? The problem I face
Is that habits are ingrained. Have I to devise
Some procedural method where I must excel?

That’s not out of the question, but the fastest way
Is by practicing thoughts and paying attention
To how I feel when I think them, and doing it
When I’m feeling my best – not when I’m in the pit
Of unspeakable darkness. I must be the one,
Through my conscious intending, to service my day.

There are some really tough ones that I hang on to.
They do nothing but cause me much grief and despair.
But I know this already. I cannot forget
Which also is a habit I own with regret.
It’s not hard to stay focused and fully aware
Of the positive aspects in all that I do.

Practicing to perfection the feeling technique,
There is less troubleshooting that needs to be done.
That makes things a lot easier as long as I
Can maintain my alignment. I cannot deny
The one thing that I’m after. That isn’t much fun.
I can feel my way to everything that I seek.
