Many health issues are caused by diet and stress.
Your belief in their wellness you want to convey.

When you truly believe in their potential, you
Can communicate well your positive intent.
A special kind of focus is needed when they
Want to talk about their illness. You need to stay
Resolute in believing in their improvement.
You must be excited about the work you do.

While you’re paying attention to only what they
Can become, you might ask them how long they want it
To go on. If they want to perpetuate the
Ill condition you must accept that they are free
To do so. But if they want your full benefit,
It’s then easy to get them to see it your way.

You’re doing a great service. Your inner being
Knows where you are in relationship to what you
Want to see manifested. It guides you around
Any resistance offered. Within you is found
The awesome gift of healing. This isn’t a new
Or particularly unique way of seeing.

Changing Beliefs

Hard Rusty Ways

Old senses of direction have started to rust
As the new dawn approaches, and I cannot see
What is written. All meaning has faded away.
No longer do I feel that I need to obey
Any system of guidance that’s outside of me.
One could say that I may have an issue with trust.

I have good belief systems. I think I’m okay
For the most part, but there are a few that I need
To replace because they’re not helping me to be
My best person. My life should be an odyssey
Of fulfillment. It’s my intention to succeed
At creating a more awesome life day by day.

What’s the fastest way to ingrain a new belief
System into my being? It’s by practicing
The thoughts of that system and by noticing how
I feel when I am thinking them. I can allow
All the good that my thinking and feeling can bring
To the moment. From doubt I can find much relief.

I practice when I’m feeling my best – not when I
Am at my worst. I can’t get a hold of something
That feels bad and then try to force it to feel good.
That’s absurd. The illogic is not understood,
But when my practice leads to something exciting
I will milk it and just keep myself flying high.

Be Yourself; Do Your Best

There are so many processes, tools, and techniques
Like religion, exercise, and meditation…
This is certainly not a bad thing. It in fact
Gives us many ways to keep the spirit intact.
So there is no reason for not choosing just one.
We each listen to the voice that most loudly speaks.

Each one gives us permission to be who we are
At our purest. Belief systems play a big part
In the choice of tradition, and the artifacts
That are used may be the very thing that attracts
One’s attention. One’s method is taken to heart.
That place of inner knowing is never too far.

We can change belief systems as easily as
We can change our appearance. The tool that we use
Allows for that to happen. When we are in need
It is by our belief system that we are freed.
What’s even more awesome is that we get to choose
How much weight on our living that each moment has.

Whatever we’re attracted to, we are because
It works well at the moment, but ultimately,
You come to know that you’re the one making changes
To your outlook as the universe arranges
What is needed. You are the tool absolutely
In complete compliance with universal laws.

Forget Bad Memories

Releasing the Negative Past

It was gross and traumatic – all that I went through.
Memories still catch up with me no matter where
I decide is a good place to block them away.
Deep inside me where they don’t belong they will stay.
Am I worthy enough to relive my despair?
Is there some way that I can live my life anew?

In the present, the past is created by me.
To better wrap my head around this, I accept
That everything is here and now. What I can’t do
Is invalidate what I don’t like. It is true
That I must come from a neutral place. What is kept
That is of no use can be released completely.

If I’m putting too much emphasis on the pain,
I must know that I do have the power to choose
To unlock from the feelings that I don’t prefer.
Putting my focus elsewhere, relief will occur.
Otherwise I will be open to self-abuse.
Logic dictates the choice if I’ve not gone insane.

It really doesn’t matter what happens – only
What I do with what happens that determines how
I will deal with the future. Toxic memories
Linger as long as needed until my heart sees
Past my old belief systems. If I can allow
Some relief in this moment, much better I’ll be.

Handling Negative Beliefs

They can creep right up on you and point to your head
Which indeed has conceived them. The harm they can cause
Is immensely complex. All beliefs negative
Keep you from ever knowing the right way to live.
One cannot get around life’s most basic of laws.
Belief systems of all kinds are in the mind bred.

Some cannot seem to change them. They are rather strong
Having picked up momentum over many years.
But they can and must be changed in order to be
Delivered from frustration in all that you see.
The thought of your exploring them escalates fears
That you may find that some things about you are wrong.

You may not know which belief is causing the fear
So you just need to find out where it’s coming from.
Doing that will be scarier than you had planned
But in your getting through to it you take command
Of the issue effectively. You’ve overcome.
A big obstacle in life you’ve made disappear.

It may hurt getting close to what’s holding you back
The more pain means you’re closer to reaching the core
Of your harmful belief systems. And the breakthrough
Will be bright and refreshing. Life will be brand new.
You will then have the rest of your life to explore.
You will finally feel that your life is on track.

Compassion

Emotional Understanding

Easily compassion comes with people we know
Because we are more familiar with who they are.
Understanding and clarity we have more of.
Offering someone comfort expresses our love
When the person we cherish feels not up to par.
It is the healthy and natural way to go.

With those who we don’t know, it becomes difficult
To get close to the feeling that they hold inside.
People are their own business. They have sovereignty
Over their lives – no others. This happens to be
Not the best attitude. With the heart open wide
Many blessings returning may be the result.

People have belief systems quite solid and strong
In order to break through them one must understand
Exactly where they’re coming from deep in their heart.
The expanding of consciousness is a fine art
For the one who is seeking an outlook more grand
Than the black and white illusion of right and wrong.

People work only with what is in their toolbox.
As valid as yours is their idea is too.
A degree of acceptance of that is just fine.
To achieve the expansion one cannot decline
The key to understanding adverse points of view.
Human nature remains a divine paradox.

Changing Beliefs

Reprogramming Behavior

I have good belief systems. I think I think well,
But sometimes I malfunction and problems arise.
So there must be some things that I need to replace.
What’s the best way to do that? The problem I face
Is that habits are ingrained. Have I to devise
Some procedural method where I must excel?

That’s not out of the question, but the fastest way
Is by practicing thoughts and paying attention
To how I feel when I think them, and doing it
When I’m feeling my best – not when I’m in the pit
Of unspeakable darkness. I must be the one,
Through my conscious intending, to service my day.

There are some really tough ones that I hang on to.
They do nothing but cause me much grief and despair.
But I know this already. I cannot forget
Which also is a habit I own with regret.
It’s not hard to stay focused and fully aware
Of the positive aspects in all that I do.

Practicing to perfection the feeling technique,
There is less troubleshooting that needs to be done.
That makes things a lot easier as long as I
Can maintain my alignment. I cannot deny
The one thing that I’m after. That isn’t much fun.
I can feel my way to everything that I seek.
