A Big Question

Do you know Who You Really Are? You’re a machine
With a spirit created by God. You’re the light
That shines through you. Both essences are intertwined
In a way that whatever comes into your mind
Will become manifested. You don’t have to fight
For the process to work and results to be seen.

In this world there are no victims, villains, or those
Who cast shadows upon you. That’s an illusion
Of the ego. There’s no one doing things to you.
It makes sense to take the logical point of view.
You choose what you’ve created and all that you’ve done
You own up to. You can know what your spirit knows.

When you can say, “I did this,” you find the power
To change things for the better. And in so doing
Tremendous satisfaction is what you will feel.
All in good timing the universe will reveal
Exactly the best path you should be pursuing.
Be open to having wonderful things occur.

Seek then to create change not because something’s wrong
But because it no longer makes an accurate
Statement of who you are now. As soon as today
You can change your life circumstance in a big way.
Go ahead with the life you were meant to create.
Get accustomed to living your life like a song.

Open Highway

There are a lot of things we miss that we pass by
That if we could just make a point to see them would
Add tremendous value to our lives. Your problem
Is your gift. Any disappointments you have stem
From the notion that life is hard. That’s a falsehood
Life will always be what you make it. That’s no lie.

All the situations that push us back or knock
The wind out of us are the same situations
That have all the potential to move us forward.
What you can do about life cannot be ignored.
You can do much with positive affirmations.
When the blessings occur it should come as no shock.

No one is positive all the time, but it’s not
Impossible to see the value in every
Situation – to take what the world throws at you
And with your creative prowess turn it into
Your advantage. You are positive energy.
Your journey to fulfillment can be a straight shot.

Life’s greatest accomplishments were not always on
Some grand pedestal always cherished and admired.
They were built on the back of doubt, difficulty,
And hardship. You can transform negativity
Into strong expectation of what is desired.
You have your guidance system to rely upon.

The Power Of Attitude

Kingly Posture

There are only two animals on the planet
That have kingly attributes. One is the eagle.
The other is the lion. They both are leaders
Of their respective domains. They both are eaters
Of the flesh of all others. They both are regal.
If one encounters either, one will not forget.

The eagle is the king of all the bird kingdom
As the lion is of animals on the land.
They’ve the spirit of leadership. Their attitude
Is such that they achieve whatever is pursued.
Fearlessness in the face of danger they command.
They are eager for obstacles to overcome.

Not the tallest, or largest, or heaviest beast,
The lion is also not the smartest of all
The creatures in the jungle, yet they all respect
The presence of the lion. They would genuflect
Had they knees. (Never Mind. That was right off the wall.)
Lions are lethal when their anger is released.

You cannot have an attitude that is beyond
Your belief. Attitude is a product of what
Your belief system dictates. Do not lead by fear,
But remember your purpose which is more than clear.
Be aware of the feeling you have in your gut
About life and your propensity to respond.
