Time

The Cycle Eternal

Time can be of the essence of what can be known
To be real in the oddest sense. Time is a slice
Of eternity of which one can’t understand
With the physical mind. Its haphazard command
Of the laws of the universe doesn’t suffice.
It would be nice if to us a big clue is shown.

Time is slow when you’re waiting. Patience is required
To put up with the interval. It’s an ordeal
For the consciousness. Time is fast when you are late.
Hurriedly as you scurry you enter a state
Of confusion. Unsettled is all you can feel.
Neither one is an experience that’s desired.

Time is deadly when your are sad. When you’re happy
It is short. And enigma it ever remains.
It is an inconvenience when there’s not enough.
Times can be of abundance, or they can be rough.
Time is endless when your pain effectively drains
Much of your physical and psychic energy.

Every time, time is determined by your feelings
And psychological conditions – not by clocks.
Have a nice time always in whatever you do.
May this moment become one that’s special to you.
You can get to a point where you can say, “Time Rocks!”
It is the recorder of your inner dealings.

The Universe

The Infinity Of Providence

Are their places like earth in the vastness of space
That can be visited by one’s inner being?
Can the clandestine contacts occurring right now
Become known to the whole population somehow?
That someday we may visit them for sightseeing
Is a boon to consciousness while spinning in place.

Yes, there are many places throughout the expanse.
Psychic is the connection among worlds afar.
If the question can be asked or if the desire
Is substantial, then it is enough to inspire
One to know without knowing who all beings are.
What occurs in the universe isn’t by chance.

There’s a clarification that has to be made.
In this time space reality there is so much
Potential for expansion, one can’t go beyond
What the mind can imagine, though we may respond
To the physical forces with which we’re in touch.
With a keen, subtle spirit, we’re on a crusade.

We’ve enough to take care of here, with who we are,
And the way that we steward and nurture our home.
Our minds cannot imagine the whole of all things.
The concept of physical eternity brings
To the consciousness infinite places to roam.
There will always be something exceedingly far.

The Time Is Always Now

The Infinite Coupling Of Existence

The body is a cosmos with a cosmos.
It’s made up of some particles – none that are me.
I’m the space in-between all the physicalness.
I came into this stardust to grow. My progress
Is determined completely by how well I see
I am not who the body is nor even close.

Knowing what time it is when a challenge comes due
Is somewhat of an asset that I have right now
Which is happening always. My life and my plight
Are two separate entities. I do me right
When I come to my senses – the five that allow
The connection to spirit in all that is new.

There is only one moment. In it everything
That is happening changes, for now and always.
Life is meant to have challenges. It’s how we grow.
Satisfaction is futile. As long as I know
That it’s part of all drama, my character plays
Its best role as a novice yet up and coming.

“This time you’ve gone to far, God! No more can I take.”
It’s a comedy act that I’ve played in the past.
I will deal with each crisis life tosses my way
And rejoice in its coming. That way I will stay
In relief of the burden. No longer typecast
The perpetual loser, I am my fair shake.

Appreciation

Life And Death Are Both Blessings

There’s so much that I live for. It’s easy to say.
Often times I may say it while not feeling whole.
It is by social habit I wear the costume
Of the life-loving specimen who hides much gloom.
Time I have on this earth is for growth of my soul.
Should death come within hours, I’ll have much time to pray.

All my prospects and travels and brief love affairs
I do cherish more strongly when faced with the threat
That within a small march of days all will be gone.
How would I spend that time? Will the song of the swan
Be discordant to deaf ears? Will there be regret?
Or will I in bliss wait for my moving upstairs?

The dear deer in the headlights on one pitch black night
Is frozen in astonishment and total shock
That life may end abruptly. If the driver yields
Then the creature finds newness in grazing its fields.
Reveille from the universe is a hard knock
To quotidian consciousness, but that’s alright.

If the cataclysm doesn’t happen as planned
I won’t miss all the good things I normally do,
And with consciousness freshened with each living breath,
It is truly a blessing to come close to death –
Close enough to be shaken to a brighter view.
I appreciate living a life that is grand.

The Mechanics of Time

TheMagicRealist.com

When under anesthesia we notice not time.
It would seem consciousness has an on and off switch.
When we’re ‘off,’ not a thing happens. It’s not like sleep
Where when one comes awake, memory one may keep
Of the things clearly dreamt about. Do I know which
Of the two states is more valid a paradigm?

We give meaning to observing cyclical things.
We mean for them to be what we make them to be –
A grand representation of eternity.
They are only perceptions most ultimately.
We’re all spinning in circles, as some would agree.
This should lead us to nowhere if nothing it brings.

We can study the footprints we’ve made in the sand.
The same pathways we walk notwithstanding the will
To detach from the physical and from the mind.
We know time to be something that can be defined
Only by observation and rational skill.
We make too much of some things to well understand.

All we know to be physical is made of time.
Everything has a birth and a time for its end.
Within substance is nothingness on a grand scale.
So to detach from nature in all its detail
Is the proper technique to help one to transcend
What has become activity just shy of crime.
