We adore our young children. The smile on the face
Of a toddler at Christmas is precious indeed.
We want them to believe that the world is okay
For a while at least until we come to that day
When the real world around us offers us the need
To come up with a truth that the child can embrace.

Santa Claus is a figure so is there a way
Of transitioning from receiving from someone
In a costume to becoming a Santa Claus?
We cannot teach them about spiritual laws.
When the time comes we will know what has to be done.
Inspiration will give us the right words to say.

Many children think there’s no Santa because they
Are not ready to be Santa. When they become
Receptive to the notion that giving is good
For the spirit then Santa Claus is understood
As the Spirit – the One who good tidings come from.
In the most positive Spirit you want to stay.

Play this game with your children. Tell them to go find
Someone who needs a blessing. There secret mission
Is to find something that someone truly desires
Then fulfill it with the thing the person requires.
Giving is only about the acquisition
Of the good feeling of being thoughtful and kind.
