No One Is Perfect

I Did It

When was the last time someone stabbed you with a knife?
Such a thing never happened? Then you’re fortunate.
People say things, however, that get you upset.
Many things people say can be seen as a threat.
So how can you remain in a positive state
And get on with the business of living your life?

Human nature is such that it doesn’t know how
To keep quiet. It says whatever comes to mind.
So a mind filled with chatter will spew constantly
Utter nonsense and versions of reality
That aren’t real. They become unconsciously unkind.
Such behavior hurts you only if you allow.

No one likes being spoken to in a bad way.
You should walk away from someone who offers you
Anything but their kindness. Don’t waste energy
On defending yourself. You and everybody
Has a higher self so the best thing you can do
Is ignore the despicable things people say.

There’s no such thing as a perfect human being.
Everyone you know will hurt you time and again
But only if you let them. Your pain is caused by
You and you only. So start asking yourself why
You feel so disconnected. You’ll realize then
That with your higher self it is not agreeing.

Emotions And Your Body

Feeling Spectrum

Your body responds to the way you think, feel, and
Act. This is one type of mind/body connection.
When you’re stressed, anxious, or upset, your body may
Develop high blood pressure or ulcers. To stay
In good health, you can confide in the direction
Of your inner being who has the upper hand.

The manifestation in the body is an
Exaggerated version of what’s going on
With your feelings, but you can shift an emotion
With much more ease than after the damage is done.
You have your guidance system to rely upon.
Your awareness is important to your game plan.

If you wait until there’s a manifestation,
Then it’s much harder to emotionally get
Around what’s taken place in your body, therefore
Catch it in the beginning and do not explore
All the things about your life you deeply regret
Having gone through even though it’s your creation.

Understand your emotions and recognize why
You are having them. Sorting them out can help you
To cope with them. Find some form of relaxation
Such as yoga, Tai Chi, guided meditation,
Or just listening to music. Things you can do
Are quite many. It’s worthwhile to give some a try.

Get Out Of Trouble

Escaping The Rubbish

Ominous is the feeling that cripples my soul.
What may happen is dreadful. I can’t think about
Devastation, poverty, and deep emptiness.
If I’m so out of balance and crippled with stress
Over what I’ve created, there is little doubt
That I can get a grip and take back some control.

How can I shift my frequency, when in despair,
To one higher, if that is even possible?
Luckily it can be done without going mad
Through a process and promise that is ironclad.
I can save my own life if I am docible
Of the logic of wellbeing which isn’t rare.

Everything is a lesson. Each experience
Is for me a perfect opportunity to
Let myself be the best student that I can be.
I would gain some awareness of dark parts of me.
Giving up is the worst thing on earth I could do.
Nonexistence is futile and doesn’t make sense.

To say that it’s too difficult reinforces
My belief that it’s difficult. I can divest
Myself of negative thoughts about what is taught.
If I see myself in others, I won’t be caught
In the trap of hopelessness. This life is the test.
Its curriculum consists of many courses.
