Don’t Tell It Like It Is

Righteous Distraction

Telling the same old story will keep you right where
You don’t want to be any more. What you believe
Is what you are observing. ‘What is’ has you hooked
To the point where ‘what could be’ may be overlooked.
Inspiration from spirit may not be perceived
To be relevant even though all truth is there.

You pinch off the abundance available to
Everyone by your determination to tell
The story like it is. You don’t want to be seen
As delusional. There’s a difference between
Ignorance and psychosis. You know very well
That your reality is created by you.

Feel hopeful about the abundance being there
Instead of disappointed that it hasn’t been.
It’s not a matter of winning the lottery
Nor is it about all of your activity.
It’s about your exuding abundance and then
Owning up to the goodness of which you’re aware.

The loudness of ‘what is’ is just so deafening,
But you do have complete control of the volume.
Tell a different story. What you fabricate
Is the now story that you were born to create.
Knowing no better, the universe will assume
That it is true. To you, what you dream it will bring.

The Power Of Now

Your Eternal Point Of Attraction

No matter where you’re standing, if it’s not pleasing
To you, just remind yourself that it isn’t done.
And then take the emotional journey and show
Yourself how you can put ease along with gusto
In your experience. Your point of attraction
Is Right Now. It’s the only moment worth seizing.

Everything is actualizing around you
In this moment – not yesterday or tomorrow.
All responds to your vibrational output Now.
You attract things to you, but you may not know how
To stay focused on things that don’t bring you sorrow.
Happiness is the state that makes wishes come true.

All of your power is Now. Think about what you’re
Doing to tomorrow when you’re feeling good Now.
You affect the day after and months down the line.
You emit a vibration that will by design
Bring good manifestations, but you must allow
Yourself to believe that life is an adventure.

Tomorrow never comes because when it gets here
It’s today. The next moment can never exist.
It is always the present. Appreciation
For this moment is most clearly the solution
To all problems. The challenge is less to resist
Living outside the present where all does appear.

Magic!

Your Amazing Life Force

Is the car in the garage my reality?
It is rugged and solid, and if I punch it
With my fists I’ll know pain like I wouldn’t believe.
My reality is only what I perceive
To be real, and the vibration that I emit
Arranges my reality as it must be.

Although it was assembled somewhere at some plant,
And the pieces were fashioned by man or machine,
Can it ever be accurate that it is real?
It’s just a perception any person can feel
With their consciousness. In the world all can be seen
As something that is physical and elegant.

A manifestation is my ability
To perceive. That Is It! There is nothing to add
To improve on its meaning. The Magic Potion
Is in expressing with my deepest emotion
What I would like to see changed. Has this world gone mad?
If I can ask the question I help make it be.

It is tricky to hold one’s thought on the unseen.
The mixing of realities often occurs.
The rub is to observe reality enough
But not so much that I become bogged down with stuff
That is not what the better part of me prefers.
I consider Magic a part of my routine.

Become Happy

Joy Is In The Mind

It is said that the average person loses
Their attention many times in just one minute.
Cumbersome are the thought patterns of people who
Fail to concentrate adequately. What they do
Is done with some anxiety mixed into it.
The heart may guide the way, but the mind refuses.

Researchers have done studies with monks who know how
To focus their attention. Their experience
Is substantial. Brain scans on them revealed a lot
Of frontal lobe activity when these monks thought
Of things like compassion and love that is intense.
They are also well trained in living in the now.

A control group of folk considered average
Were given the same brain scans. The shocking result
Indicated no activity in the brain.
With this bit of knowledge there is something to gain.
To acquire the monk’s brain is not that difficult.
There are practices in which we all can engage.

Thinking of unconditional love, compassion,
Or divinity, when they are focused upon
On a regular basis, will make one feel good.
Pay attention to life. It’s better understood
When the causes of fear, hate, and doubt are all gone
Thinking with emotion helps to get the job done.

What’s In Your Future?

The Intent Of Unceen Forces

We ask for the solution in myriad ways.
Living has caused the asking, and life will respond
To the heart of our focus immediately.
Feeling better or worse are the choices only
From this moment unto those that pierce the beyond.
How can we know what’s happening in later days?

What is in the process of becoming for you
Is all that you have wanted right up until now.
As you stand in awareness of all that you are
You must know that fulfillment is not all that far
In your future. To feel this is how you allow
All your dreams and wishes to finally come true.

But if you notice that it has not happened yet
It’s an upstream awareness that will pull you down
To the depths of despair. When you go with the flow
The events of your future are easy to know.
You do not have to resort to drifting around
In the fog of prediction with utter regret.

If you can avoid facing reality and
Think thoughts that are different from the probable
You pump that into your future nowness instead
Of the usual rubbish produced in your head.
In the long run you will be a lot more able
To know what’s in your future because it is planned.

Know Thyself

The Spiritual Mirror Image

Since childhood I’ve been learning and relearning things
That others get the first time and with greater ease.
I don’t find it a problem until I’m perceived
And am judged for the way I am. Then I am peeved.
But I’ve been a fine bastard with my psychoses
And this self-observation – my ego it stings.

It’s and ongoing process. Self-discovery
Grows from learning of this world and all of its ways.
But the self that is studied is of the body
And the thing that we know as personality
Yet the more subtle essence for most of us stays
In the depths of the psyche concealed completely.

I would study myself, but just what does that mean?
I must ask myself questions that puzzle me so.
Is myself the perceiver? Or am I that who
Perceives he who’s perceiving? If I follow through
With this interrogation, what truth could I know?
…Consciousness is recursive and clearly obscene?

The mind is a fifth limb. It will grasp and hold on
To the things it perceives. I know that it’s a tool.
It itself is perceived by that which is unnamed.
The true self is a mirror wherein all is framed
In its pureness of being. I’ll take that as cool.
It’s the source of all selfhood from which life is drawn.
