Deliberate Segment Intending

Time Adjusting

Like a pinball I feel that I get bounced around
Quite a bit through life. I don’t seem to have control
Over much. I have too many things going on.
The enthusiasm I once had is now gone.
If this game isn’t won what becomes of my soul?
Within each day no time of contentment is found.

I would love to understand this ever present
Law of Attraction field of response more clearly.
What I’ve been told is that I can Segment Intend
Purposefully but I don’t fully comprehend
How to do it. Is something the matter with me?
Please someone help me out of this predicament.

Most people when they wake up they wander into
Their day having responses to what’s going on
Around them and as the day gathers momentum
It takes them places they’d rather stay away from.
Segment Intending is what folks depend upon
To make their days fulfilling and fun to get through.

You can start having experiences where you
Understand why you’re having them because you did
It deliberately. Your point of attraction
Is maintained and you’ll find immense satisfaction
And in practice it is a fine way to get rid
Of resistance. You can have your wishes come true.

Before Sleeping

Sleeping On Air

About one third of human life is spent sleeping.
It’s a huge chunk of time therefore it’s important
To prepare yourself properly for a good night
So that you will wake up feeling sunny and bright.
The next day will be problematic if you can’t
Give attention to your nocturnal upkeeping.

Sometimes you may wake up feeling way out of whack
For no reason apparent. You can incubate
Either good or bad feelings as you fall to sleep.
Naturally it comes down to what kind of sheep
You are counting. One does not have to speculate
On the cause of your feeling profoundly off track.

Eat at least three to four hours before going to
Sleep so that digestion is already complete.
Drink some water and take a nice lukewarm shower.
The sensation of water tends to empower
The body to relax. It’s important to treat
Yourself kindly. You’ll be rewarded when you do.

What you think is your body is not. So, remind
Yourself of this. Breathe in, “I am not the body.”
Then breathe out, “I am not the mind.” In this way you
Release lots of resistance. Besides, it is true.
You deserve to sleep soundly and wake up carefree
With the issues of yesterday left far behind.

About Gratitude

Sign Of Life

Accustomed to the pavement and looks of disdain
From each passerby, one must compartmentalize
Feelings of desperation, shame, and hopelessness
From the art of the sale, as the face must express
Sincere need. One must hope people will sympathize
With their circumstance. This is what drives one insane.

Homelessness of the body, like that of the soul
That has lost its connection to reality,
Is a problem that people encounter each day.
People wish that the issue would just go away
But it won’t. It’s a part of our society
That in some basic ways is way out of control.

At some nook on the freeway the human billboard
Holds the message that cannot be well understood.
We don’t want to be interrupted from our own
Many issues. We won’t throw the poor dog a bone.
Trying to stuff the guilt doesn’t do any good
Because we’re not as practiced at being ignored.

Yet there are success stories. There are people who
Have reached out in a big way. Anyone can be
Faced with hard times. People who deal with homelessness
Work for others’ compassion. They are nonetheless
Worthy of being happy. Those who don’t agree
Have some gratitude issues they should attend to.

Effortless Healing

Meditative State

“Let the weak man say, ‘I’m strong.’” Though I’m not at war
With a tribe or a nation, I can understand
That the words must be backed with passion and intent.
If they’re not, I will not find any fulfillment
Of my wish to be healthy. I do have command
Of the state of wellbeing that I’m reaching for.

It makes sense, but there’s effort – a slight backfiring
Factor present. Every subject is two subjects:
What I want and the lack of it. If I’m feeling
Weak but I say that I’m strong, I’m not appealing
To the truth of the matter. It’s not that complex
Of a puzzle, yet it can be awe-inspiring.

Trying to overcome what I’ve got going on
Vibrationally with words just doesn’t get it.
It only increases the effort expended
In the process, so it is not recommended
That I fake my way into believing I’m fit.
That I’m not truthful is a conclusion foregone.

Vibrant health is my birthright. It’s within my reach.
I need only step out of the way and let my
Body heal as it knows how to naturally
Without outside influences. I want to be
In a state where my body is my best ally.
Passion must be the driving force behind the speech.
