Can I Trust My Feelings?

That I have an emotional guidance system
Is apparent, but how do I know that I can
Trust my feelings? Indeed they may be under the
Influence of hypnosis, voodoo, sorcery,
Or illness. It could be something much bigger than
My awareness. It could be something I’d condemn.

Trial and error leads to a keener awareness
But it takes longer and there’s unnecessary
Resistance to contend with. When I meditate
I feel much better able to cooperate
With spiritual forces that influence me.
To the world it’s my best self I want to express.

Streams of pleasant thoughts and guidance come on the heels
Of having quieted the mind. When I follow
That guidance there is always a payoff for me.
As I rid myself of resistance completely
Many blessings of the universe start to flow
Into my life. I can get used to how that feels.

If I’m not under the influence of my Source
Then what I do feels difficult. Passion I feel
When I’m lined up with my Source. I notice when I
Am aligned or not. I need not ask myself why
What I’m doing feels healthy or like an ordeal.
I am guided by a most benevolent force.

I Am Satisfied and that’s the way I should be
Just because I am conscious. I’m fully aware
That I’m not here to fix a world that is broken.
It is not. Why this truth does remain unspoken
Is a mystery I need not the wide world share.
If I said I was lying would you believe me?

I Am Satisfied with what has not yet occurred.
I have not the resistance that I had before
When I was tripping over what’s not happening.
There is nothing more harmful to my wellbeing
Than to say there are no avenues to explore.
Thinking that things are hopeless is simply absurd.

I’d been pushing the concrete noodle way too long.
It has not brought me happiness but misery.
I cannot make things happen. I cannot dictate
To the universe what I want it to create
So that I can be made eternally happy.
I’m surprised now by how I had things so damned wrong.

I can’t turn the world right side up. I can only
Be a part of all that is, and that is content
With all that is. I trust, stay in tune, and allow
The guidance of discovery to show me how
In this moment to be here and fully present.
Satisfaction with nothingness is ecstasy.

Becoming Nothing

Nothingness is of something. It causes distress
Among many folk. People don’t want to go there.
The fear of Becoming Nothing is very strong,
But of nothingness can there be anything wrong?
In their everyday living people do not care
To examine the topic were they to confess.

At the prospect of all your efforts vanishing…
Your achievements and attainments turning to dust,
How do you feel? Do you find it most depressing?
Most people need something onto which they can cling.
The concept of nothingness to them is unjust,
So they find within it absolutely nothing.

But what if the fundamental reality
Is of nothingness? Where does beingness come from?
By saying we are all basically nothing
We release the resistance everything can bring
To the present moment. The eternal outcome
Of everything is nothing. But how can this be?

Nothingness is like the emptiness of deep space.
It contaminates nothing. Its pureness is clear.
Yet it holds the whole universe. The sacred void
Is of spirit. Do not be fearful or annoyed
At the prospect of losing all that you hold dear.
Join the party then dare to be nothing with grace.

Unstoppable

As you identify it in general terms
Then the specifics of it will come before you
Put your label on it. Rather than deciding
What it’s going to be and forever trying
To make the universe fit into your own view,
Why not have faith in what all that is good confirms?

Chill out and let the universe show itself to
You as it is. Everything you’ve ever wanted,
One at a time, is kept track of yet in spirit.
You must be in the receptive mode to get it
If not, then by acting you become self-daunted.
People who don’t know this by now are but a few.

Spirit knows the relationship that each of your
Wishes has with the others. Cooperative
Components are arranged by Law of Attraction.
It’s your inner being who gets everything done
On the spiritual level. You want to live
The thrill of expecting and then receiving more.

In that quieted mind state, you are not trying
To make it happen, yet you are unstoppable
In your faith in unseen forces working for you.
No matter what is happening, you’ve access to
Infinite intelligence. Perfectly stable
Are the laws. They need no over-clarifying.

The Beauty Of Nothingness

Go the whole way in theory to see how you feel
At the prospect of your achievements vanishing.
All your dreams and hard efforts have turned into dust.
How does such a thing strike you? Could you learn to trust
A condition of nothingness? What’s the feeling?
Perhaps thinking about it holds not much appeal.

For some reason or other people are supposed
To find this notion morbid and too depressing
For any mind to deal with. There’s no need to fear.
Nothingness is a blessing. When this is made clear
Then there’s nothing to fret about – not a damned thing!
Many things become transparent and well disclosed.

What if the most real state is that of nothingness
And it was the fundamental reality?
It could not be contaminated by a thing,
Negative are the feelings that too often bring
Misery to your nothingness. It’s best to see
That all that there is comes from nothing through process.

Deepest space contains nothing. The whole universe
Is engulfed in a vastness that cannot be known.
Everything comes from nothing – the good and the bad…
The ugly and pathetic who make people sad.
If you feel you are stranded here you’re not alone.
Consciousness is a dream infinitely diverse.
