A Meditation Question

Spiritual Alignment

I find that when I meditate there are times when
My thoughts come and go. They are all over the place.
I see that as no problem. It must be okay
Because I can start over if ever I stray
From my focus on nothing to enter a space
Of alignment. I can get back on track again.

When I’m there in that sacred space everything makes
So much sense. I’ve a sense of infinite knowing.
When I come out of meditation I forget
Everything that had happened. I feel some regret
That the access to the knowledge that was flowing
Is no longer. Somehow am I making mistakes?

Meditation is a process which allows your
Vibration to rise. When it does, you have access
To infinite intelligence. When you are there
Just take notice of how you feel and be aware
Of it all happening. Recognize your progress
In the process and in time it will reveal more.

Meditation is the gateway to alignment,
And alignment is when you’re open to receive
Information. You can get to a point where you
Can record your experience. You don’t have to
Get all bothered about it. What you can achieve
Through alignment will bring you enormous content.

Man Versus Nature

Human Incongruence

We’re like monkeys with typewriters. This is year nine
Of one point three more million. The Britannica
We are right in the middle of writing, and we
Are accustomed to living unnaturally.
We are caught in a self-created dilemma.
As a fluke, we are of a peculiar design.

As soon as we stop what we’re doing we’ll relapse
Into nonsense. We would have to start all over
From day one of year one. We are in constant fear
Of it ending abruptly. We’ve made a career
Of our diligent keystroking, as we prefer
To remain odd and able… and worthy perhaps.

We like our way of life. We like being human.
If we want to stay this way we must fight nature.
We must impose our will upon this world so wild.
Manliness is aggression. One is aptly styled
With a mask for the doubt. The tough one must ensure
That control over nature is the only plan.

We need not conquer space. We are there already.
With the aid of technology we are as far
As we’ll ever get. The rocket and bulldozer
Are big symbols of culture. Be the proposer
Of a gentler vibration. After all we are
But a byproduct of nature ultimately.

Man Versus Nature

The Prevailing Racial Ego

As the apple tree apples, God’s green earth peoples
Yet the tree is of may fruits. Man is but one.
And we’re flukes of the cosmos. A thousand monkeys
With a thousand typewriters with relative ease
After millions of years will be completely done
With the encyclopedia minus steeples.

They revert back to nonsense the moment they stop
All the waste paper buildup and slaughter of trees.
Man is just like those monkeys – a trick of nature.
We’re afraid to stop ‘typing’ for we may endure
The same fate as the monkeys, so like a disease,
And unlike those dear primates, we think we’re on top.

So, we fight like the dickens with from whence we came
To prove that we’re superior kids on the block.
Who has made this a war game – Man Versus Nature?
Never mind a damned answer. There must be a cure
For man’s constant aggression on this rugged rock.
There is nothing that man has the sole right to claim.

The male ego needs something – not total bashing.
Perhaps when that’s found out things may greatly improve.
Holding our breath while typing is not practical.
The word ‘conquest’ is locked into our rationale.
Nature always comes up with its best countermove.
How long can we put up with eternal clashing?

A Wedding Of Excitement And Laughter

Delightful Duo

You are full of excitement, make friends easily,
And enjoy having fun with family and friends.
You have many fine talents. Enthusiasm
In all things that you do is delightful to some.
But to all you’re a service on which life depends.
When at any work, you perform proficiently.

You two work well together and have lots of fun,
Which are one and the same. Versatile you can be
In the use of resources to make things work out.
You believe in your magic. There isn’t a doubt
That the outcome is fortunate. Life, as you see,
Is a captain and mouse game that’s always begun.

Your adventures, bizarre and completely absurd,
Are like snippets of dreamscape adorned in nonsense.
The collective subconscious is the reservoir
For the means of escape through creation and more.
Therapeutic it is to watch foolish events
Where the good ones defy harm, as it is preferred.

Gifts of enduring love, universal appeal,
And your magnetic chemistry offer release
Of the buildup of tension through healthy laughter.
The captain of one’s steamboat, what e’er may occur,
Is the spirit within who’s acquainted with peace
And is always the one in control of the wheel.
