Soul Trap

Through the contrast that happens here, it is easy
To be thoroughly obsessed with horrible scenes,
And what complicates things is the creative mind
That comes up with stories of the scariest kind.
Contact with what is unknown by any known means
Can be vague and fallacious to a high degree.

There are no negative beings with the power
To influence a person to do something wrong.
They’re contained in their own world and can do no harm.
If you’re having bad luck there’s no need for alarm.
There’s a practical reason, and it won’t be long
Before you’ve figured it out… far less than an hour.

We create our reality through our actions
Which are driven by our beliefs, and our systems
Of logic produce evidence that we perceive.
This will reinforce what we already believe.
There’s nothing in the real world that either condemns
Or administers sorrow for we wicked ones.

So, a trap is something that only works when you
Don’t know that it’s there. That’s how you fall into it.
The real trap is the story you are being told.
If you do not believe it you can’t be controlled.
You can use logic for maximum benefit
To dispel horror stories that some people spew.

The Universe

The vastness of the cosmos – The void that is not
Has too much possibility to comprehend.
Yet, we give it our best shot and do fairly well.
The enormity has some meaning. What, pray tell?
I would not bother posing this to a close friend.
It’s best that I tie only my head in a knot.

Are there places similar to earth to be found
In this mass of creation with other beings
Who are like us? Are they within visiting range?
When it comes right down to it, there’s nothing too strange
For this chunk of eternal cosmic happenings.
It is likely that there are such places around.

In this realm of existence, if you can conceive,
Through your imagination, anything you choose,
Then this universe has it and much stranger things
That cannot be imagined by us as beings
Simply because we are limited in our views.
We cannot know what the cosmos has up its sleeve.

It has so much potential ours pales in essence
So the concept of eternity we engage
To approximate meaning, but the meaningless
Echoes ever profoundly. So we acquiesce
To the little we can know on this earthly stage.
We accept things that to us make some kind of sense.

Stop Resistance?

One beholds The Resistor – subject to Ohm’s Law.
In electronic circuitry it does the job
Of opposing electrons as they try to move
Through their pathways. The only thing it wants to prove
Is its will to drop voltage. The flow it does rob
Stabilizes and balances, and without flaw.

Current, Voltage, and Resistance are the three things
That have formed a relationship universal.
Each can affect the other, except resistance
Is a fixed entity introduced to enhance
Electronic behavior and boost their morale
By the changes to voltage and current it brings.

The behavior of humans is somewhat the same
As the antics of circuits. How the creator
And the object created obey the same laws!
It may seem that we’re destined and locked in the jaws
Of some rigid machinery, but it is more
Than the mind can be wrapped around yet it can claim.

Voltage is all the efforting we think we need
To get things done, and current is the ease of flow
Of the things that we’re doing. Resistance is that
Which presents us with challenge. Sometimes we fall flat
And apply yet more effort. What we need to know
Is that flow times resistance is effort indeed.

To feel good means maintaining a high vibration.
The best way to do that is by practicing joy.
Being conscious of how you feel, you get to choose
Which path is least resistive. This way you can’t lose
There are many a technique that you may employ
But to reduce resistance you must have more fun.

The Universe

Are their places like earth in the vastness of space
That can be visited by one’s inner being?
Can the clandestine contacts occurring right now
Become known to the whole population somehow?
That someday we may visit them for sightseeing
Is a boon to consciousness while spinning in place.

Yes, there are many places throughout the expanse.
Psychic is the connection among worlds afar.
If the question can be asked or if the desire
Is substantial, then it is enough to inspire
One to know without knowing who all beings are.
What occurs in the universe isn’t by chance.

There’s a clarification that has to be made.
In this time space reality there is so much
Potential for expansion, one can’t go beyond
What the mind can imagine, though we may respond
To the physical forces with which we’re in touch.
With a keen, subtle spirit, we’re on a crusade.

We’ve enough to take care of here, with who we are,
And the way that we steward and nurture our home.
Our minds cannot imagine the whole of all things.
The concept of physical eternity brings
To the consciousness infinite places to roam.
There will always be something exceedingly far.

Phallusy

Logic is ever phallic. It is of the mind.
An affirmed web of meaning for unruly speech
Is something we deem vital in making good sense.
We begin with an argument that needs defense.
We assume that attack is the fate bound to each.
So, to speak means to make war as it is defined.

Phallusy takes effect when emotions are stirred.
They contaminate logic. It then must respond
With its cold, calculating assessment of heart.
Words can hold us together or blast us apart.
I rely on the former to take me beyond
The confines of pure logic. This is much preferred.

Not a feeling I know of obeys a rule book.
Every soul needs expressing, each in its own way.
Words that spew through the phallus of logic are meant
For sustaining our battles. With verbal content,
Those who use words to bend logic have more to say.
Meaning makes its own methods to not be mistook.
