Celestial Song

Sometimes a song keeps playing inside of your head.
It may be happy or sad depending upon
How you feel in the moment, but you have control
Over which one you’re hearing. You’re playing the role
Of the maestro. To you all attention is drawn.
 And by you the awaiting orchestra is led.

There’s a much greater song reverberating through
The whole universe. It keeps things in harmony
So that planets that have life are safe and secure.
The Great Song is a vibration that shall endure
Through eternity. Know the exquisite beauty
Of existence especially that which is you.

Some say that life’s a sad song. They experience
What they sadly sing then they expect things to change
For the better or they just stay in a foul mood
Constantly. They develop a bad attitude.
The notion of their changing their song is too strange
So they put up destructive walls of self-defense.

Those who say it’s a happy song are the ones who
Know that it’s not the song. It’s the way you’re singing
That brings meaning to life. How you sing The Great Song
Is your freedom. Do know that you can’t get it wrong
If unto the main melody you are clinging.
May the music bring everlasting joy to you.

Everything That You Want Is Downstream

Constant Connection

Imagine taking your canoe down to the edge
Of a fast-moving river. You get in and then
You begin paddling deliberately upstream.
Why on earth would you do that, though? It doesn’t seem
Like a healthy idea. Again and again,
People do it as if they’ve made a solemn pledge.

People do it because everybody does it.
We don’t want be lazy, and we have been trained
To believe that hard work and struggle are to be
Seen as virtuous qualities. Society
Is upstream oriented as if it’s ingrained
In our psyche. It can be of no benefit.

There’s nothing that you want that’s upstream anyway.
The rewards for a difficult life can’t be worth
Feeling absolute pleasure in every moment.
People learn how to get by with their discontent.
When it gets to be too much, then they’re giving birth
To a change in direction and a brand new day.

Everything that you want is downstream. Everything
That makes up the stream is what you’ve been putting there
Through your wanting a better life. Inspiration
Comes to you, and it helps you in getting things done.
Just let go of the oars and become more aware
Of your worthiness and your passion for living.

We Can’t Get It Done

The Cycle Unending

In an inductive circuit, voltage leads current
When the frequency of the source resonates well
With the circuit’s vibration. Increased energy
Is resultant and is handled efficiently.
A repetitive space is where electrons dwell,
And it would seem that in this way they are content.

We are like free electrons. Social circuitry
Modulates our behaviors and regulates flow.
Voltage is our emotions; current, what they bring.
Nothing in life indeed is more satisfying
Than to be in alignment so much that you glow.
Less reactive, yet focused is how we must be.

Elation is what you want. Forget the reason
That you need to be happy. Just be happy first.
Again, this is the voltage which must be the cause.
The effect is the manifestation. The laws
Of physics and the universe can’t be reversed.
It must be understood that we can’t get it done.

There will always be something more to live about.
We are eternal beings with finite bodies.
So we can’t get it all done. We can’t get it wrong
Because it’s never done, which is where we belong.
A self-voltage check can be done quite easily
By caring how you feel, and it gets rid of doubt.
