Motivation

Clarity Of Mind

The beginning of the rest of your life is right
At this moment. A new world can be frightening
And exciting all at once, and you’re protected
By divinity – the force that has directed
You thus far. You find life to be enlightening
For the most part. It seems that your future is bright.

Think outside the box. Don’t be afraid to explore
Your ideas with passion. Don’t be afraid to
Take chances and to fail in a very big way.
You have only one life. It has to be okay
To climb every mountain. The spirit within you
Keeps experiencing life and asking for more.

Dream big dreams but remember that dreams without goals
Are just dreams which if not acted on will decay
And fuel disappointment. Goals you can achieve
With consistency if in your heart you believe
That you’re worthy of having things work out your way.
You are living a life that no one else controls.

To achieve your goals discipline you must apply
Which you’re already doing. We don’t plan to fail,
But we fail to plan. What is your motivation
For continuing with this new life you’ve begun?
Ask yourself ‘why’ and answer in vivid detail
And your purpose the universe will satisfy.

Dharma

The Wheel Of Life

It’s an Eastern term that has no direct single
Word translation. It’s a complex set of meaning
And interpretation. To the extent that it
Can be defined, some human behaviors will fit
The description of dharma. It is a cleaning
Of the space where dirty vibrations comingle.

It’s the essential nature of reality
And the teachings and practices that enable
Realization of that essential nature.
Dharma is at the heart of the legislature
That orders the whole universe. It’s a label,
Nonetheless, it’s helpful to a conscious degree.

There’s a right and a true way for each person to
Act in order to best serve themself and others.
Dharma is closely associated with the
Noble concepts of selfless service and duty.
It’s the right way of living and often refers
To the path that is for one the truest of true.

Following your dharma means that you’re pursuing
The calling that is truest for you. Anything
That upholds or sustains the positive order
Is of dharma. The life that one would most prefer
Is one that is spiritually fulfilling.
It’s the one source of abundance and wellbeing.

Finding Lost Feeling

The Heart Of Depression

Things are not the way I want. It’s getting me down,
And I’m not in a position where I can see
How to get what I want. What on earth should I do?
I keep repeating this until my mind turns blue,
But I need to do something or I’ll never be
In fulfillment. Yet I can’t help wearing a frown.

I have this thing all backwards according to those
Of a better vibration than I can produce
Here and now in my agony. It makes no sense
That when I feel like this nothing good will commence.
In fact all is against me if I don’t make use
Of content with my journey. My higher self knows.

The journey is the destination. I can know
That I can find fulfillment each part of the way
To the way that I’m after. I’ll do everything
In my power to entertain thoughts that will bring
Feelings of satisfaction and not of dismay.
Focusing on what’s missing is not how to go.

What I want is unfolding, and I’m satisfied.
I am in the receiving mode and ready for
The next piece of the puzzle, and then the next one.
They won’t come if I’m troubled. I can’t be undone
By the present which isn’t so tragic a bore.
What I wish with a pure heart cannot be denied.

Setting Goals

Aiming At Targets

There are goals and there are wishes. The difference
Is that wishes have no energy behind them.
But our goals are infused with our life giving force,
And they have to be written down clearly, of course.
If they’re not written, then dissolution will stem
From them not being realized. Does this make sense?

Write it down in first person and in present tense
Like it’s happened already, and isn’t it grand!
If you do this each morning, after thirty days
You’ll achieve more than six months’ worth with your old ways.
Every evening, revisit to check where you stand.
Do develop this habit for blessings immense.

Ask your self these two questions: “Have I done things right
To move me more toward the thing I most desire?
And what would I do differently if I could?”

Your self-confidence rises indeed as it should.
There’s no limit to blessings that you will acquire.
All the while you are carefree and bask in delight.

“It ain’t bragging if you’ve done it,” and you’ve done more
Than this time space reality wants or expects.
You’ve made progress by being the person you are.
Keep your attitude positive, and you’ll go far.
Setting goals should be simple and should not perplex
One right back into wishing mode just as before.
