Healing A Shattered Soul

Everything revolves around the soul, however
Until we entered a transformation in our
Consciousness, we weren’t able to talk about the
Soul except as an aspect of theology
Or an abstract idea that has no power.
Going down that road was a foolish endeavor.

So, this transformation of consciousness that we
Have entered affects us individually
And collectively. We with our five sensory
Personalities are quickly coming to be
Multi-sensory so that eventually
We become whole thus integrated completely.

Limited in perception, the five sensory
Personality cannot make sense of the soul
And psychology doesn’t even recognize
Its existence, so it comes as not a surprise
That treating the dysfunction is the major goal
Of the therapist with whom one may not agree.

Personality defects can’t be understood
Apart from all of the karmic circumstances
That created them. We each have a shattered soul.
We use our personalities to make us whole.
All through the process we’re given many chances
To evolve hopefully in the way that we should.

Helicopter Parenting

It’s a loving obsession. Those who want to be
Protective of their children are known to be too
Overbearing. The hovering is the result
Of past worrying, so it becomes difficult
For some to not have their children always in view.
Does it work well as far as all parties can see?

Forget talking about how it all got started.
It’s of no value whatsoever to place blame
On the parents. That only causes that movie
To play longer. The ones that are the most scarry
Are the ones where the plot always remains the same.
The approach to parenting must be wholehearted.

Might children have been better off with parents who
Were much less domineering? They would have found more
Resources a lot faster for getting along
In the real world. No one has done anything wrong.
It’s just that your hardship stories do nothing for
The ones who are open and who look up to you.

You can watch your own movies – create them as well.
Connect to your own resources. Care about how
You are feeling. Let your beliefs morph into the
Direction of what you really want. You are free
To create your reality and to allow
Peace of mind to consume you wherein you will dwell.

Spiritual Whirlwinds

The spiritual warfare that has to take place
Due to our human nature becomes ever more
Obvious. No longer will there be subtlety
In the battle between hate and love, and to be
Of either is to be quite acquainted with war.
Is there something the matter with the human race?

Governance is an issue. We can’t get along
Because of our diversity. We’re a nation
Where the Civil War continues to be fought and
One where the sick among us will not understand
That all people are part of divine creation.
There’s only the difference between right and wrong.

How does spirit and warfare end up in the same
Stream of consciousness? Scripture declares there will be
Commotion in the end times, but apparently
This time is one of many throughout history.
It’s not hard to look at it spiritually
When complete understanding alone is your aim.

The whirlwinds of spirituality are such
That foundations can be uprooted. Temptation
To be swept up in drama will always exist.
Spirit may not want you to be an altruist,
But it does offer insight. The elevation
Of the consciousness of this world is needed much.

Grow Through It

We all go through things that are uncomfortable.
There’s that troubling coworker who gets on your nerves.
There’s a dream that has taken longer than you thought
To come true. Generally, it feels like you’re caught
In a trap of frustration. No person deserves
Such a thing, but it seems it’s not preventable.

You can’t pray away everything that bothers you.
God uses inconveniences, difficulties,
And delays to see if you choose to Grow Through It
Rather than getting bitter. If you can submit
To the test you’ve been given, then you will with ease
Get the insight and strength needed to follow through.

Our faith is tested in the fire of affliction.
We don’t grow so much in the good times. We grow in
Difficult situations. It’s not a mistake
When someone does you wrong or you get a bad break.
If you choose not to hold a grudge, you will begin
To live life with a little less contradiction.

Grow Through It! Go the extra mile. Take the high road
And forgive. This is how to use God’s loving grace.
Build your spiritual muscles. Don’t get upset
Over struggles that haven’t even happened yet.
Do not be afraid to look challenge in the face.
Grace comes to you when you’re in the receptive mode.

Faith

Faith is confidence or trust in a person, thing,
Or concept. In the context of religion, it
Is belief in a God, and doctrines and teachings.
It’s not blind. It’s intelligent because it brings
On a peace that is greatly to one’s benefit.
Even with no evidence it’s enlightening.

Conscious knowledge and practicing good deeds is part
Of the process for growing spiritually
In some religious contexts. One’s obedience
To the scriptures does not make a whole lot of sense
Without some understanding of what comes to be
The foundation of living and dear to the heart.

To know more about God and the infinite plan
For one’s finite existence is what one who seeks
True enlightenment cares about. Faith allows one
To discover that knowledge. Verification
Is achieved through employment of psychic techniques
People practice. It’s something that anyone can.

Nothing in this world should be dearer to the one
Seeking truth than the development of wisdom,
Which will lead to faith, which will lead to certainty.
Truth is found by those who seek it ultimately.
The omnipotent Source is where true faith comes from.
Faith is maintained only by sincere devotion.

The Key To Allowing

If I don’t want something I won’t care about it
Then I will get it easily. That is to say
No resistance is offered so some attraction
Must occur without me getting anything done.
This profound paradox wants to mess with my day.
Though it does the mind boggle, I’m not here to quit.

If I really want something that does exist not
And I feel really badly about it I won’t
Be aligned with its coming – only with its lack.
So whatever I put out is what I get back.
I must give up the struggle because if I don’t
Then I build up resistance to what e’er is sought.

If I want something somewhat I’m indifferent
To its coming or not, there’s less difficulty
In attracting it. Therein there must be some key
To the way of allowing things to come to me.
If I believe and expect, it must come to be.
I rid myself of unnecessary torment.

If I really want something and really believe
In my soul I can have it, then my resistance
Has become nonexistent, and good things will flow.
So the key is to start little then let it grow.
As it gathers momentum… As I sing and dance
There’s no limit to what in this world I’ll achieve.
