Simple States Of Affairs

How I feel is important. So, what else is new?
By default I can feel one way or the other,
Yet it seems I’m controlled by my environment.
Why do I often fall short of feeling content
With a life that includes all the things I prefer?
I have now asked the question. What else can I do?

It’s just the simple state of affairs that I’m not
Up to speed with my higher self. It doesn’t mean
Any thing else but that. Negative emotion
Only means that I know that something can be done
To get happy but no way to do it is seen.
I had known this at one time. Somehow, I forgot.

The larger part of me maintains my vibration,
And I know every reason for every feeling
Of emptiness is that I am blocking the flow
Of abundance and wellbeing. I also know
What to me at any moment is appealing.
For this knowing I have much appreciation.

My higher self is the much larger part of me
Who exists mostly in spirit but who’s also
With me here and now. It’s well worth remembering
That my higher self is the source of everything
I could ever conceive of. The more that I know
Of what it knows, the much better off I will be.

All That You’ve Asked For

You now know too much, having been here for a while.
You know who you are. You know that your vibration
Is maintained by the larger you, and you know how
To stay in the receptive mode and to allow
Energy to flow through you for the creation
Of a positive and most fulfilling lifestyle.

When you’re not up to speed with the best part of you,
Emptiness is the feeling. The state of affairs
Is a simple one. You know that you have control
Of how you feel. The circumstance can make you whole
In the knowing that the larger part of you cares
About you and about all that you want to do.

You could be… but you’re not. Negative emotion
Keeps you stuck in a cycle. You know how it feels
To be happy and carefree. This state of being
You have known to be one of the most agreeing.
You are receptive to what your spirit reveals.
You know that there’s value in appreciation.

Feeling good feels, at first, like your acknowledging
That you feel good, then appreciating the fact,
And, upon recognizing that you have control,
Your intention to feel good will be your main goal.
It becomes easier to maintain your contact
With all that you have asked for, indeed everything.

The Ripple And The Ocean

The question is whether at this moment you can
Know or sense within yourself that underlying
Presence that is deeper than the person you are.
Elusive and intangible, it can be far
From easy to discern. It is mind defying.
It has concerned people since before time began.

It is all pervasive. It is your own presence
That cannot be sensed if you are trapped in your thought.
“Where’s this ‘presence’?” I’m trying to find it but can’t.”
It’s of no use to go on a negative rant.
There’s a simple way of getting to what is sought.
What exists below your surface is quite immense.

When the mind is quieted for just a short while,
At first, it seems like nothing, It’s rather boring
Of a space for too damned long. But gradually,
You will find peace in that emptiness. You will see
That there is much more to you worth not ignoring.
The mind always wants to run the one minute mile.

The ripple is the thinking mind. It is akin
To the turbulent surface. The rebel ego
Can observe its connectedness with the divine
And the Ocean. You’re able to fully align
With that self most unnamable. It is the flow
Of life essence. The universe is found within.

Finding Your Meaning

If you died today, what talents, abilities,
Gifts, ideas, and dreams would go along with you?
Recent studies say that most people hate their jobs.
What they do for a living provides, but it robs
Them of their sense of fulfillment. What can we do
To break out of a routine that will never please?

We all came here with talents. Each one of us has
Special blessings that life gives us. It’s most worthwhile
To find out what it is that you love offering
To the wild world that needs it more than anything,
And the best of your blessings is always your smile.
You must find out what gives your life umph and pizzazz.

We’ve all stopped and reflected on what’s happening
In the world. Shocking headlines cause people to ask
Where all of it is leading. What good can you do?
Simply being in touch with your heart that is true
Is more helpful sometimes than a specific task.
What is your worth? You do have purpose and meaning.

If you know what your work is, then start doing it.
In a dead end position, how far you can go
Is established. It will erode your self-esteem.
Inner turmoil and emptiness are not your dream.
Only when you have freedom will your spirit grow.
Everyone is here for everyone’s benefit.

Get Out Of Trouble

Ominous is the feeling that cripples my soul.
What may happen is dreadful. I can’t think about
Devastation, poverty, and deep emptiness.
If I’m so out of balance and crippled with stress
Over what I’ve created, there is little doubt
That I can get a grip and take back some control.

How can I shift my frequency, when in despair,
To one higher, if that is even possible?
Luckily it can be done without going mad
Through a process and promise that is ironclad.
I can save my own life if I am docible
Of the logic of wellbeing which isn’t rare.

Everything is a lesson. Each experience
Is for me a perfect opportunity to
Let myself be the best student that I can be.
I would gain some awareness of dark parts of me.
Giving up is the worst thing on earth I could do.
Nonexistence is futile and doesn’t make sense.

To say that it’s too difficult reinforces
My belief that it’s difficult. I can divest
Myself of negative thoughts about what is taught.
If I see myself in others, I won’t be caught
In the trap of hopelessness. This life is the test.
Its curriculum consists of many courses.

Everything You’ve Asked For

If you’re not up to speed with who you really are
It is not condemnation. It’s stating of fact.
You respond to this simple statement of affairs
As someone who knows too much and someone who cares
About staying healthy by maintaining contact
With your own inner being which is never far.

That’s all negative emotion is. It’s a split
Between what your true self knows and your own belief.
But you know what to do now. Relax and accept
That your magic is real and not just a concept.
In accepting the concept you find true relief
Positive emotion is what you can transmit.

The Vortex contains everything you have asked for.
It’s the state of emotion that has true power.
Every dream, wish, or wanting that you’ve ever had
You can have. It’s a promise that is ironclad.
It is natural that you blossom and flower.
Every good thought leads to the creation of more.

Getting into this Vortex is not difficult.
Anyone can achieve this most high frequency
Of positive emotion. Your source knows it all.
Everything You’ve Asked For – both the big and the small
Is available to you. You just have to be
In the state of receiving to get the result.

If Tomorrow Starts Without Me

Tomorrow starts without me. Someday it shall be.
Should the sun rise and find your eyes dampened with tears,
Please don’t cry while you’re thinking of those things unsaid.
I know how much you care for me. Tears that are shed
Speak for you and me also, and I have no fears
For a place has been readied in heaven for me.

If it should start with out me, know that what’s occurred
Is that my name was called. Then, taken by the hand,
I was told I must leave earth and all that I love
And ascend to the kingdom of heaven above.
I cannot argue with what the Big One has planned.
As I looked back, a tear fell, and your voice was heard.

It seems almost impossible I’m without you
And can’t hug you goodbye. How I want you to smile.
Emptiness, memories, and sorrows I’ve become.
When I think of the things of the world I grow numb
At the thought of your sorrow. Yet after a while,
I rejoice in the new work I’m given to do.

And when I walked through heaven’s gates I felt at home.
God looked down upon me from a huge golden throne
And said, “This is eternity. All that I said
Will be yours is now yours. You have nothing to dread.”
I’m now ready to give up the earth life I’d known.
In the realm of eternity is where I roam.
