You’re having responses to life whether or not
You’re conscious of it. You’re giving your attention
To all kinds of things. Some of them are negative
But you can fork away if you’re willing to give
Much more attention to what is your intention.
Everything about how you feel matters a lot.

If you feel negative emotion you’re marching
Systematically toward something that you
Will not like when you get there. Turn yourself around
In the moment you notice it. You will have found
An escape from that which is making you feel blue.
Recognize when a bad feeling is happening.

In every moment you’re moving toward something.
How do you feel about it? Begin leaning in
The direction of what you want. Where you are now
Is your starting point. You want to learn to allow
Yourself to be more comfortable in your skin.
Make a big difference in what you’re attracting.

What do you know that you often seem to forget?
You know the difference between what doesn’t feel
So good and what feels a little better so you
Can make well informed choices about how to do
The mundane things as well as the ones most ideal.
Things you have to do shouldn’t be seen as a threat.

Know already. Does this thought feel better or worse
Than the one right before it? You know beyond doubt
The answer in each moment so it’s all about
Choosing better and the entire universe
Will support you. You have to believe this is true.

You need to talk yourself into feeling better.
You begin by remembering that you create
By the way that you vibrate, in other words, you
Attract things. They do not come from out of the blue.
So, how can you stay in a more positive state?
Keep your mind focused on the thoughts that you prefer.

Nothing is more important than that you feel good.
Only look for that which you are wanting to see.
No matter what you’re doing you can make it fun.
It’s the best way for you to get anything done.
Before doing it you’re advised to get happy.
How you get to that place is now well understood.

The Part Each Plays

Positionality refers to how social
Position and power shape identities and
Access within society. Dualistic
Mental structures within the ego mind can trick
Itself into believing that it’s in command
By virtue of position and its rationale.

Positionalities include cherished values,
Beliefs, attitudes, and judgments. They are ingrained
During childhood. Reinforced by society,
They become an illusion of reality.
In order to function well, they must be maintained.
One becomes manipulated by social cues.

Positionalities provide all the juice the
Ego needs to maintain its hold and dominance
Of the mind. Race, religion, nationality,
Gender, or how one postures politically
Are examples of position and they enhance
The ego’s own agenda of needing to be.

Phenomena are not either fair or unfair,
Good or bad, right or wrong, or somewhere in-between.
We become judgmental and opinionated
Over things that can’t possibly be related
To enlightenment where the big picture is seen.
Of the ego we can only be more aware.
