Relaxing Cup

Smell the coffee. Awaken unto the new day
With the freshness of new birth. Take in the moment
And expand it as far as your heart will allow.
All the power that you have is right here and now.
You know that this is the most important segment
Of your day and it’s good that you start out this way.

Do not glance at the headlines. The heck with the news.
Don’t attune your vibration to all the fine crap
That’s been gathered to zap you into a mindset
Of upset and depression. You’ll come to regret
Having fallen into such a negative trap.
You affect your vibration by thoughts that you choose.

Think about things you can do to make this day one
Of fulfillment. Think thoughts of love and gratitude
And then savor the feelings those thoughts generate.
Your life is all about finding ways to feel great.
Nothing is more important than keeping your mood
Elevated. Rejoice in the new day begun.

As you go through your day take the time to recall
Your time spent in this moment while you’re pre-paving
A most wonderful day. Keep yourself occupied
With good deeds and use your emotions as your guide.
Don’t worry about how others are behaving.
Getting yourself aligned is no trouble at all.

Spatial Awareness

Often times there are moments when you feel the thrill
Of excitement flow through you. The world is your stage
And your audience benefits from who you are.
The energy you have makes you feel like a star.
It gives you all the power you need to engage
Everyone around you with laughter and goodwill.

When people who are sensitive to energy
Of a spiritual nature tell you that you
Are surrounded by those who are no longer here,
Know that they speak family and those most dear
Who have passed on before you, but you don’t have to
Be astonished. This is how things happen to be.

When you see children playing, how brightly they shine.
Energy flows abundantly. It demonstrates
That we all are extensions of Source Energy.
We’re all interconnected spiritually.
Thinking too much about it indeed complicates
The expression of that which in us is divine.

Feel the difference between the word ‘consciousness’
And the words ‘physical human being’ and know
That dead people flow through you when you’re flying high.
The body is a vessel that some day will die,
But until then it is a light bulb that will glow
With the brightness of many as we acquiesce.

Know Yourself As Eternity Knows You

How do you Define Yourself? Do you think that you
Are a separate entity from everything
Else that you perceive? Do you believe that you are
Everything even though the notion is bizarre
To most people? We each have an inner being
Who can answer these questions from out of the blue.

The Big Bang is still happening. It never ceased.
It’s a process in progress with a beginning
And an ending uncertain from our perspective.
As sophisticated as we are we still live
As if we do not know that the earth is spinning
In its orbit by forces immensely released.

Someone has thrown a bottle of ink at the wall.
The big spot in the middle is surrounded by
Smaller ones. There are droplets on the outer fringe.
It’s foolish to think that our actions don’t impinge
On all that is occurring. It’s hard to deny
Unity fundamental. It’s an easy call.

In our ordinary everyday consciousness,
We pretend that we are not what we are truly.
Without eyes the sun cannot express as sunlight.
We know darkness because of what we know as bright.
You call things into beingness naturally.
You are the universe. You can be nothing less.
