Faith

Prayer Of Asking

Faith is confidence or trust in a person, thing,
Or concept. In the context of religion, it
Is belief in a God, and doctrines and teachings.
It’s not blind. It’s intelligent because it brings
On a peace that is greatly to one’s benefit.
Even with no evidence it’s enlightening.

Conscious knowledge and practicing good deeds is part
Of the process for growing spiritually
In some religious contexts. One’s obedience
To the scriptures does not make a whole lot of sense
Without some understanding of what comes to be
The foundation of living and dear to the heart.

To know more about God and the infinite plan
For one’s finite existence is what one who seeks
True enlightenment cares about. Faith allows one
To discover that knowledge. Verification
Is achieved through employment of psychic techniques
People practice. It’s something that anyone can.

Nothing in this world should be dearer to the one
Seeking truth than the development of wisdom,
Which will lead to faith, which will lead to certainty.
Truth is found by those who seek it ultimately.
The omnipotent Source is where true faith comes from.
Faith is maintained only by sincere devotion.

Not Everyone Gets It

Sensations Are Relative

Some people just don’t get it, and that is okay.
I know I don’t. It’s something not well understood
By the general population throughout their
Daily routines. Can I learn to be more aware
Of what goes on around me? And can I get good
At deciphering feelings the old fashioned way?

There is one major frequency or vibration
That all humans are linked to perpetually.
A lot of people are trained to pretend that they
Are not one with the wavelength. Therefore they betray
Their true sense of alignment with who they could be.
Fundamental is this vibe to all creation.

We perceive melodies by discerning the notes
And the spaces between them, but it’s all just noise
To someone who is tone deaf, and the color blind
Cannot understand beauty as it is defined
By the artist. The one with full senses enjoys
More of what life presents us or shoves down our throats.

In the same way, our sense of alignment may be
Not as sharp as it could be. Both cause and effect
Are the same event. The head does not ‘cause’ the tail.
Once this wisdom is digested you cannot fail.
The words and the music cannot be incorrect
For the one who is centered emotionally.

The Unspeakable World

Silent Beingness

If you talk all the time then you will never hear
What anybody else has to say. And the same
Goes for thinking. If you think too much of the time
You will not know what life’s about, and that’s a crime.
Does this mean that such people should be put to shame?
I resemble such folks just to be somewhat clear.

Subvocal conversations, the constant chit chat,
Symbols, images, talk, and words rob consciousness
Of its essence. The real world is unspeakable.
We tend to give everything some kind of label,
But in doing so we interrupt the process
Of perceiving things fully. Can we deal with that?

Several colors we can see, yet we are blind,
And with all the notes in the scale, we cannot hear.
Leaves are not green and flat. These are tags we assign
To something that is nameless. We are by design
Objectivity leaning and fettered with fear
Of a world without order of the human kind.

If we stop fixing conceptions and learn to see
Everything as it truly is – magnificent,
The infinity of sound and color will be
Our experience. It will come naturally
With some practice. It’s definitely time well spent.
The world that is unspeakable is clutter free.

Not Everyone Gets It, And It’s OK

Trickle Down Enlightenment

First of all, I don’t get it. Let’s be more than clear.
It’s a thing that a lot of folks can’t comprehend.
Like a sense, it has subtleties huge and complex.
It is rigid in outlook with all due respects
To the best that it knows with no need to pretend
It gets it absolutely while ignoring fear.

If I’m tone deaf it means I can’t hear melodies.
In the musical world they are called intervals.
I cannot hear relationships between the notes.
Currently there are no viable antidotes.
With that kind of condition I’m caught by the balls
In a circumstance that feels a lot like disease.

One can also be deaf philosophically.
One who is rigidly logical in their ways
Must expect things to happen according to plan.
There is too much incentive to do what one can
To avoid knowing oneself so consciousness stays
In a state of stagnation unfortunately.

I may know all the words but not so the music.
The relationship between the cause and effect
Is that they’re the same process composed of two parts.
When I master this aspect enlightenment starts.
There is nothing that is known by mere intellect,
And deciphering oneself is no easy trick.
