Your Ego

It talks to you constantly and to everyone
You may meet in a language that usually
Conveys physical presence. It feels a great need
To protect itself and this too often can lead
To miscommunication. You cannot agree
On a viable spiritual solution.

It’s a good thing but sometimes it gets in the way
Of spiritual progress. It can however
Be aligned with your spirit. When this happens you
Are fulfilling your purpose in all that you do
Yet sometimes the spirit and ego don’t concur
And it can put a terrible cramp in your day.

From your higher self you receive information
About what to do, where to go, and who to meet.
This in fact is your ego. It’s that part of you
Who knows everything that you’ve paid attention to
Your whole life. It knows what will make you feel complete.
Your ego can be your cause for celebration.

People have been trying to make the ego this
Physical part of you that is trying to learn
Its way back to connection with eternity.
It can be lost easily unfortunately.
Nothing about the ego should be of concern
As you focus on being in a state of bliss.

On The Threshold Of Manifestation

“My life is really very good. I know that I
Have a huge vibrational escrow down the road.
I’m enjoying my journey and if I never
Reach the end then it means life goes on forever.
I’m thankful for the good things that to me have flowed
Yet I’m not fulfilled. There must be a reason why.”

There’s some contradiction in your thinking process.
What you want isn’t out there teasing you into
A much better life. What you want is out there and
It is real. It’s most helpful if you understand
Well how thought precedes form. The creating you do
Should always be from a place of pure happiness.

Don’t give up reaching for the manifestation.
You’re not being encouraged to just think happy
Thoughts so that you’ll be content in the absence of
What you want. Do pursue all the things that you love
But do it knowing that it shall all come to be.
There must be no doubt lurking in your vibration.

You must want unabashedly. Feel justified
In your wanting and having it and be assured
In its coming. This kind of determination
Will crystalize your magnificent creation.
So in fact your fulfillment is safe and secured
By the universe which is always on your side.

About Happiness

A professor one evening had a meeting for
Some of his former students to see how they were
Doing out in the real world. He wanted to see
How much they had succeeded at being happy.
Are they all living the life that they would prefer?
All about their lives now he wanted to know more.

They each told him their stories. “I’m not doing well.
I can’t get that promotion. The harder I try
To achieve what I’m after, the more I’m let down.
I get through my days typically with a frown.
Sometimes while I’m at work I could break down and cry.”
Not a single one had a good story to tell.

So the professor said, “You all seem to be stressed.”
He provided them coffee and several cups
To choose from. Some were plain and some were elegant.
What he said to them next was very important.
Knowing that stress has to do with mental hangups,
It was a bit of wisdom he clearly expressed.

“You all picked the nice looking cups leaving behind
The plain looking ones, but the cup gives no value
To the coffee it’s holding. You want the coffee –
Not the cup. If you want to be truly happy
Care about what’s of value. The more that you do
Then the more success and happiness you will find.”

Manifestation Is Near

I’m enjoying the journey. My life is okay.
I know I have this huge vibrational escrow
Down the road. If I never get there, it’s alright.
Lord knows I would love for my future to be bright.
What I want is out there. It’s good for me to know
That it calls me. Am I right in thinking this way?

Nothing is out there teasing me. It’s just out there
And as real as my consciousness and strong intent.
I know that thought precedes form. What I imagine
Becomes real, and it matters not what state I’m in.
Bad things will manifest even though they weren’t meant
To occur, therefore I choose my thoughts with much care.

I can’t think happy thoughts so that I’ll be content
With the absence of what I want, but what I can
Do is think happy thoughts because that is the way
To good manifestations each and every day.
I must want what I’m wanting ever much more than
My righteous negativity gross and poignant.

Want with triumph and worthiness. Feel justified
In your wanting and be assured that it will come.
Sincere determination makes things happen fast.
I create what I want to out of the contrast
That life offers. I know were my goodness comes from.
In that source of benevolence I can abide.

My Ego

How can I make the dance a little bit better
Between God and my ego? How can I become
More aligned with my wishes vibrationally?
How do I get to know the divine part of me?
I know where my humanity emanates from.
My ego, to the world, is an open letter.

That part of me that is called the ego is my
Receiving divine guidance. I am connected
By default, but at times, there is uncertainty
About where in the scheme of it all I should be.
That’s the part of me that needs to be directed
On its journey. The ego is best to comply.

The all-powerful, all knowing, uplifting source
Of creation is recognized by the ego
Which is this human body. It tends to complain
About life. It is always trying to attain
Something it has already. It just doesn’t know
That it is in the hands of an almighty force.

The ego is a prism. It translates the light
Of divinity into all that I perceive.
The artist is created. The ego, therefore,
Cannot lose its connection. Indeed it is more
Than a physical nuisance. One has to believe
That the ego will see a future that is bright.

Happily Ever After

Why do you define yourself in such terms of lack?
You cannot look at yourself in bogus ways, nor
Can you argue for your limitations and be
Happy in your life. Forget the past completely.
Feeling better than you have ever felt before
Is a good game when the universe has your back.

You have been trained to look through your physical eyes.
You can learn to feel through vibrational senses.
Do not think your way to it. Find the feeling then
Let the thoughts flow. A deep soothing will happen when
You consume life as it joyfully commences.
Talk yourself into feeling your way to the prize.

“It’s alright. I’m just fine. I was born to be here.
I’m on my path. I’m pure positive energy.
Ideas are flowing to me. Inspiration
Comes to me. I have so much appreciation
For the things I’ve got going that benefit me.
Well enough is in progress. I’ll not interfere.”

General is the way to go – no specific.
Life is meant to be fun. Wellbeing is assured.
Make peace with yourself. Make it alright where you are.
Don’t let others guide you to a place that is far
From where you want to be. Your desire has matured
To where your life can be a virtual picnic.

Celebrate Your Ego!

How can there be a better dance between ego
And the Source who sustains it whom I could call God?
I have lots of ambition. I’m ready to go
To wherever life takes me. My heart wants to show
It’s magnificence to the world that it be awed.
It’s something to be proud of as it helps me grow.

The ego gets a bad rap because it is true
That one that isn’t healthy can be dangerous.
But a wholesome one beams with the power of grace.
It’s my Source that I’m channeling as I embrace
Who I am at my truest. Ego is a plus
On the journey of spirit if it is made new.

That part of me which I call the ego is me
Receiving Source’s guidance when I’m feeling fine.
If I’m not well, then demons are giving me tips.
Only two ways the ego has. One will eclipse
The other. It’s a question of how I align
With the higher vibration that will set me free.

Ego is but a conduit through which can flow
The clear messages from Source I want to receive.
When I’m tuned in, tapped in, and turned on, I am there.
In expressing my selfhood, I show that I care
For the world and its people. I truly believe
That life is not worth living without an ego.
