Sulking

You are never responsible for the actions
Of others. You are only responsible for
How you act so don’t take things so personally.
If you do, in your soul you will never be free
Of the negative mind chatter. You won’t ignore
Your fallacious assumptions and fierce abstractions.

Don’t take anything personally. I live my
Life. I don’t live your life. If you put your life on
Me I don’t have to take it. It’s not about me.
I can simply let go of the sick energy
Put upon me. All negative drama begone.
I just want to stay centered. With that I’ll comply.

No matter what is happening outside of you
It has nothing to do with you. The perception
That your world has of you doesn’t matter. Only
What you think of yourself matters ultimately.
Everything is about who makes the assumption
About you and it doesn’t mean that it is true.

You are the main character in your own story.
We each have our own story. When people mistreat
Others it usually is out of boredom
But it’s all their own creation. They’re coming from
A dark place in their story. Your life can be sweet
When you take things as they are and as they should be.

Connection To Eternity

Soul agreements are made outside of time and space.
Often they are forgotten in this dimension.
Distracted by this day to day reality,
Living can be a challenge. While blind we can’t see
What it is we had written. Whatever is done
Without guidance may result in harm and disgrace.

Connections from the present we make to the past.
We believe they’re essential for drawing upon
Information from past lives to help with the theme
That was chosen for this one. Within the daydream
Are subconscious reflections, and from them are drawn
Insights from the vast pool that the soul has amassed.

Linear is our thinking. We can’t go beyond
Our imperfect perceptions of experience.
Time and space are illusory. All that occurs
Does so all at once. We are at best amateurs
When it comes to experience. Don’t take offense.
It is futile to look at the truth and despond.

Simultaneous is the nature of being.
Connections that we make and break are dynamic,
Ever changing, and subtle. The changes we make
To past lives and this present one are for the sake
Of them all that they all may become fantastic.
Knowledge of how it all works is truly freeing.

Consentual Achievement

Talk to people and people will talk back to you.
It’s a good time for travelling both near and far
Seeking out other earth trekkers and touching base.
What may have been a problem becomes a closed case.
What has not been discussed will remain a tough scar.
Healthy communication helps me breathe anew.

There exists a transaction in every handshake.
A connection is made. Circuitry is complete
For the flow of God’s good grace and blessings galore
To the hearts of both parties. Who knows what’s in store
If I neglect the hookup… other than defeat?
Should business be electric? It’s all that I make.

Time enough becomes plenty for mental pursuits,
Catching up on life’s details and making contacts
That may become productive in myriad ways.
I’ll negotiate mindfully. That always pays.
I can’t let opportunity seep through the cracks.
I must exercise all of my best attributes.
