I Thought I Could

At this moment I’m right where I’d wanted to be
Since forever and I’ll just keep chugging along
Through a blissful eternity. I’m flying high.
On top of the world I am I cannot deny
And at this point I’m forever singing the song
Of excitement as I live my life happily.

At first it seemed impossible for me to do
But I knew deep inside that I could overcome
Any negative feelings I had about it.
I went with my gut and decided not to quit.
Deep within is where my inspiration comes from.
I rely on it to make my wishes come true.

The only thought that I’ll ever have to practice
Is that if I want it I can have it and I
Can be satisfied in just the wanting of it.
My not having it won’t cause me to throw a fit.
I can be happy without my having to try.
Any thoughts of not having it I can dismiss.

I like knowing that I want it because I know
That what I want is coming therefore I can take
Pleasure in the fact that it will most certainly
Come to be. This alone is delightful to me.
Fortunately by now I’ve come fully awake
To abundance and positive energy flow.

Forgiveness Is The Plan For Now

In this world there is horror, unspeakable pain,
And depression. The hatred for one another
Is appalling. How does a world turn out this way?
Are there powerful sinister forces at play?
There are two sides. One can pick one or the other.
Those who don’t pick one are the ones driven insane.

It’s beyond devastating what you have gone through.
There’s no way to describe it only that it’s more
Than you thought you could handle. You cannot deny
Your own feelings of hatred as hard as you try.
Some relief from the pain is all you’re looking for.
Nothing short of a miracle will comfort you.

There’s a plan with a purpose which is to restore
Everything to its oneness. It’s in place right now.
You cannot accept it in the past or future.
Now is the only time that you have to secure
Peace of mind. It is you who must choose to allow
The true sense of wellbeing that you had before.

The ego tries to convince you that you will be
Happy when you see justice but your spirit knows
What you want more than you do and it’s not to hate.
The world also has much you can appreciate.
Bring the dark and insane episode to a close.
You can decide to relearn to live happily.

Certain Possibility

Things that seemed quite impossible at first to me
Have turned out to be easy. There’s a better way
I can say this. There is a slight contradiction
In the statement because it can be only one
Or the other. It’s more accurate if I say
That it was possible. I allowed it to be.

I knew that it was possible entirely.
I am free to choose which it is and to attune
To the frequency of it. I am in control
Of what happens in my life. If I set a goal
It is all but accomplished. It will happen soon,
And while it is unfolding, I can be happy.

I can practice the feeling of being aligned
To my purpose and who I am. Human logic
States that struggle is needed to get anywhere.
Life is good for some people. For most, it’s unfair,
But this novel psychosis does nothing but trick
Me into self-undoing of the harshest kind.

“Ask for it, and get on with it!”, is what I’m told
By the spirit within me. I take pleasure in
All the life giving moments that are on the way
To full manifestation. I’m willing to stay
On my path of fulfillment as good things begin
To occur in my life as it is to unfold.

The Power Of We

Where two or more are gathered in anyone’s name
Or where two or more just want to get together,
They are called ‘we’ if we are they, so the word ‘we’
Is a most powerful one. Within it we see
Potential to be organized. That is whether
They are people or particles. It’s all the same.

Behind every milestone, important endeavor…
Every hard won achievement is found the word ‘we.’
We accomplish more together – less when alone.
Positive reinforcement is by now well-known
To exist among plurals. Most definitely,
We can muster the power to do whatever.

We are the organization of healthy lives,
Of new skills, safer havens, and stronger first starts.
Giving voice to the voiceless is what we do best.
Any manner of problem is fully addressed
By The Power Of We. What’s closest to our hearts
Is found only in others. It’s all that survives.

We’re an unstoppable force for good everywhere.
We are changing the story to one that includes
Everyone on the planet. Civilization
On the rise is through all folks’ participation.
The word ‘we’ has the power to change attitudes.
The future is inherited by those who care.

The Meaning Of Life

What’s the meaning of life? Is it too much to ask?
What’s the meaning of ‘meaning’ without getting deep
Into confusing language? To ‘mean’ is to be
Of intent to convey. What does life mean to me?
Have I spent too much of it acting while asleep?
Finding right answers to these questions is my task.

Meaning means, “What’s the purpose or reason?” It means,
“What’s the existential basis and the intent?”
The whole purpose of life is joy, and expansion
Is the result. It’s not beyond comprehension.
Freedom is the basis of life. Being content
In my here and now dominates all my routines.

More exposure to more opportunity to
Have more feelings my life offers me. The meaning
Of life is life. The thrill of finding alignment
With my dreams is the source of better refinement
Of my purpose. Indeed, I am living leaning.
Breathing and being open is easy to do.

To feel life pour through me is exhilarating.
Sometimes I’m not right on it. It’s really okay.
I can work my way to it, and that is for me
A miraculous mantra. It helps me to be
More fulfilled in the journey that is underway.
Life’s meaning has to do with what I’m creating.

Business

If you want to do business then go right ahead.
Stop asking yourself questions and living in doubt
That it can ever happen. Your nine to five job
That you’ve come to despise definitely will rob
You of happiness which is what life is about.
It’s not healthy to continue something you dread.

Just Do It! But don’t do it because someone claims
To have made tons of money. It is but a scam.
Do what you do with passion. What comes from the heart
Is of intrinsic value. The moment you start
Seeing yourself as worthy you won’t give a damn
Any longer about playing sick social games.

Many people believe they are incapable
Of achieving great things so they settle for less
Than they’re worth. They are living mediocracy.
Believing this is the only way things can be,
In their lives they achieve little to no success,
And happiness is always inaccessible.

Once you have decided, know your industry well.
Learn from those at the top. Research all that you can.
Find your niche, and be master of what you provide
To the world. What you love is done with special pride.
Get with likeminded people, and stick to your plan.
Go the path that the passionate heart does compel.

Whatever You Want

Once upon a time there was a monk who used to
Shout at people while sitting by the river bank.
“Whatever you want, you will get,” he’d loudly say
To passersby. This is all he did all damned day.
No one bothered to listen to him or to thank
Him for his most kind blessing to not just a few.

People thought that the old monk was wise but insane.
They ignored him completely except for one day
When a young man approached him and asked, “Is this true
That whatever I want I will get? And are you
Able to give it to me? What price must I pay?
What can I do to realize maximum gain?”

“I can give you want you want,” the old monk replied,
“You just have to become me, but first tell me what
It is that you want.” “…To become a rich person,”
Said the young man. The old monk saw that he was one
Who was ready. He saw that his mind was not shut
To the wisdom offered him. The man was wide eyed.

“Time and Patience are the most precious gems there are
In the world. Never waste your time on foolishness.
No one is stronger than time, and there is no wealth
Greater than our patience which ensures our good health.”
The man went on to experience great success.
Everyone knows an old monk who’s not very far.

Things Will Change

Happiness is a simple choice. Hard it may be
To let go of the need to control everything.
The greatest dilemma to befall humankind
Is demanding that conditions be well defined
Before some satisfaction does efforting bring.
It’s not by desperation that one becomes free.

Can I be happy in this moment anyway
Without something pleasing outside me to occur?
I can’t control conditions. They’re impossible.
There must be some solution. I remain hopeful
That a positive change, one that I’d most prefer,
Can happen from within me. I pray that it may.

There are only two choices. My environment
I can respond to, then try to manhandle it
Into humble submission. Or I can create
A vibration of happiness to orchestrate
The environment I want. It’s best I commit
To the feeling of living in full enjoyment.

Conjuring up an image is how to begin
To get my circumstances to respond in kind
To the image created. The changes will come
If I can stop the habit of beating the drum
Of unworthy crusades. I can leave them behind.
Nothing will change outside until there’s change within.

The Biggest Joke Of All

Jokes I play on myself are imaginative.
If it weren’t for my trick self, I’d have none at all.
Some say I should get rid of it, But I cannot,
Because it thinks like I do. I’m all that it’s got.
Mostly it takes the big roles. I’m left with the small.
I ask myself if this is the right way to live.

But, alas, it can’t answer. It thinks everything
Is an intricate puzzle it only can solve.
When it can’t, it’s frustrated, as if it exists
As a viable entity. On it persists
In its ‘it-centric’ world where all things must revolve.
Onto some sense of purpose this person must cling.

So, there’s no getting rid of this subsequent dude
Come about like a tattoo etched over decades
Of abuse of his surface – a time tapestry
Of eternal becoming. The ink runs through me
But shows up not through thick skin. Freely it pervades
And presents as my ego. As such, I am screwed.

I end up doing nothing and leaving it to
That which is ever conscious and omni aware.
I can’t grasp nor rid myself of all I become.
I alone cannot get it. The getting comes from
Consciousness Universal which is everywhere.
There’s no need to get anything but a damned clue.

Fresh Advice For The Times

Tough as nails is the business of staying alive
In a world that keeps changing, for better or worse.
At this point in time, the fate of humanity,
Operating from instinct still, brash and beastly,
May see its own extinction. Its self-contained curse
Focuses on the frictions that we all contrive.

Friction is but a blessing seen in its pure light.
Resistance is required for our survival,
For without it, too much ease in life will occur.
Opposition dealt with yields the growth we prefer.
Without fear we must welcome its kind arrival.
Seeing things in a new way makes living alright.

Knowing why there’s a problem with myself is key
To better understanding of what I create.
If I know not what ails me I cannot move past
The unknown thing that festers perversely steadfast.
I’m aware that my world is of evil and hate.
It must be a sight issue. That’s how I must see.

Loving myself I always will, even through hell.
I’ll believe I’m in heaven and up the ante
Loving myself so damned much that nothing matters.
Once I reach that awareness I can love others
Without needing theirs back. It can surely free me
From chronic people pleasing. For now, I am well.

The Real Me

The performance of someone who seems to be me
Is audaciously tricky that it would attempt
To tempt me with the promise of full possession
Of what I have already, yet it has but none
Of the pure essence of me. The ego unkempt
On a world of stage acting has such need to be.

Its craving for acceptance renders it unseen.
If it lets down its armor this may not be true.
Ancient is the fine art that the ego knows well.
Its sole purpose for existing is to compel
Itself and perceived others to perform on cue.
If they don’t then the actor can be rather mean.

What it manifests matters but not a whole lot.
It may take reaching great heights to then realize
That it finds no contentment. So does it matter
That all hopes, dreams, and wishes surely must occur?
Both viewers and projectors are what are the eyes
Running a second story with another plot.

The Great Powerful Wizard Of Oz needs a rest,
As its body and mind grow weary of the act
That it thinks it must maintain to make a big name
Of itself on some world stage. It is not the same
As the one who is nameless. Staying in contact
With that one ensures me that my acting is blessed.
